Yinson GreenTech’s marinEV, has reached a significant milestone in its Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) journey with the successful establishment and certification of its Integrated Management System (IMS).
Built upon three internationally recognised ISO standards, the IMS reinforces marinEV’s commitment to delivering safe, reliable, and sustainable solutions:
- ISO 9001 (Quality Management Systems) – ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality products and services.
- ISO 14001 (Environmental Management Systems) – enhancing environmental stewardship and sustainability performance.
- ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems) – safeguarding the health, safety, and well-being of employees and stakeholders.
marinEV is proud to be the first in ASEAN to operate a fully electric fleet of vessels under an ISO certified IMS, underscoring its role in supporting Singapore and the wider region as they move toward the nation's their decarbonisation mandates.
Quote from Jan-Viggo: The IMS accreditation is a huge milestone and achievement for us in three areas. Firstly, this gives our users the assurance that the products and services we offer are of quality, ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction and compliance with regulators. Secondly, the standards of our offerings are not only safe but reliable. Finally, the recognition also helps us to improve our processes, allowing marinEV to streamline our operations, reduce waste and enhance efficiency.
In parallel, marinEV is also pursuing ISO 14064-2 (Greenhouse Gas Projects) verification to further strengthen the credibility of greenhouse gas reduction reporting from its electrification projects, which is expected to be completed by the end of October 2025.
This achievement reflects the dedication of the marinEV team and reinforces Yinson GreenTech’s commitment to embedding HSEQ excellence across its operations, as it continues to support the maritime industry’s transition towards a cleaner, safer, and more sustainable future.
