Nearly 280 electric vans have been delivered, strengthening Yinson GreenTech’s position as a dominant EV fleet leasing partner to Pos Malaysia

Yinson GreenTech continues to be the leading provider of end-to-end electric vehicle (EV) leasing and fleet solutions with the delivery of 136 new fully electric Maxus eDeliver 3 vans to Pos Malaysia. This follows the earlier successful delivery of 143 e-vans in 2024, reinforcing Pos Malaysia’s commitment to a greener, more efficient logistics ecosystem.

The official handover event was held at Pos Malaysia’s Kuala Lumpur headquarter and in conjunction with World EV Day, marking another milestone in Malaysia’s journey towards lower carbon emissions and enhanced operational efficiency within the transport and logistics sector.

As Pos Malaysia’s official preferred EV leasing partner, Yinson GreenTech provides comprehensive electrification solutions, including EV fleet leasing, depot EV charging infrastructure, digital telematics, and advanced fleet management tools. These offerings are designed to support Pos Malaysia’s ESG agenda and optimise their fleet performance while reducing environmental impact.

The latest fleet addition includes full after-sales support and maintenance for the entire EV fleet, ensuring maximum uptime and reliability. Fleet management is further enhanced by YGT’s integrated telematics, route optimisation, and utilisation dashboard, empowering Pos Malaysia with real-time insights for improved efficiency and safety.

Kelvin Soon, Managing Director of drivEV, shared his perspective on the partnership, “Yinson GreenTech is proud to once again collaborate with Pos Malaysia on their electrification journey as they advance their ESG goals. It is both a privilege and a responsibility to be entrusted by Pos Malaysia for this important phase in their sustainable transformation. Their trust in us inspires our team to go above and beyond, and we were determined to ensure the timely delivery of these electric vans to support their ambitious transition.

“We are also happy to be partnering with Weststar who have rendered their fullest support for the timely delivery of the Maxus eDeliver 3 vans,” Kelvin added. They have also shown us their professional aftersales support that we much appreciate. We look forward to our continued partnership with all parties in accelerating Malaysia’s sustainability progress for the logistics sector.”

Charles Brewer, Group Chief Executive Officer of Pos Malaysia Berhad said, “We are not just delivering mail and parcels, we are delivering a better tomorrow. The addition of 136 electric vans to our existing fleet marks a significant milestone in Pos Malaysia’s journey toward a sustainable future. And, for the first time we will be deploying these all-electric vehicles to our East Malaysia locations, ensuring that our electric vehicles now serve the rakyat across the entire nation.

“This exciting partnership with Yinson GreenTech plugs us directly into the future of logistics. It’s a win for our customers, a win for employees and a huge win for our planet,” added Charles. “With every letter and parcel we deliver, we are embedding the values of environmental stewardship, social responsibility, and good governance into everything we do, and it is a privilege to lead with responsibility and innovation.”

To date, Yinson GreenTech has supplied almost 280 electric vans to Pos Malaysia—positioning the national courier as Malaysia’s largest EV fleet operators. Collectively, these vehicles have completed over 7.2 million emission-free kilometers in last-mile delivery, underscoring both organisations’ commitment to a lower-carbon future.

Yinson GreenTech invites other businesses and government agencies with fleet requirements to explore our tailored EV leasing and electrification solutions, including depot charging infrastructure and smart digital fleet management. Our mission is to enable partners to future-proof their operations and accelerate the adoption of sustainable mobility across Malaysia.
